The little town of Ladysmith on Vancouver Island, British Columbia is built on a coal mining history. The Ladysmith Inn opened in 1911. Fabricated from beams salvaged from earlier mining dormitories & provided hotel accommodations for expatriate Boer War veterans, who came to Canada to work in the Dunsmuir mines.
The Ladysmith Inn is now a fully modernized country inn. Just off the Vancouver Island Hwy. The hotel is centrally located in downtown Ladysmith , a destination to enjoy, but also providing overnight accommodation for travellers enroute to other destinations.
Each one of our well-appointed 20 bedrooms is equipped with cable TV and a full hotel-style bathroom.

The Hotel has a beer & wine store, with a selection of over 200 wines and local & imported beer, sold chilled. For an after dinner drink orentertainment the Ladysmith Inn sports a heritage Style pub with billiards, snooker, pool and darts.
